=snow=

We've had the most snow we've had in years this past week, it's crazy. Unfortunately, I've had to work during all of it. Now that it's the weekend, the roads are a good 2 inch sheet of ice and the snow is turning cruchy and not fun to play in at all. Hailey and I have not had the chance to play and I'm really bummed about it. My work never closes for anything. They usually send us home early, but not this time. No, we practically have a blizzard and we are stuck driving on the sheets of ice, putting our lives in danger just to help people get their money. :o) I'm a bit bitter...can you tell? Lol. Well, last night, I bundled Hailey up and we went out anyways. Off to the side of our apartment building. Lol. What an adventure! **note the sarcasm** It was fun though. She really enjoyed it. I'm really hoping to have more snow this weekend so Hailey, Michael and I have a chance to actually enjoy it. As of now, we are supposed to get another 4-6 inches of new snow this weekend...along with a nice windy, snow, ice storm with power outages and the works! Yay! I'll be stocking up tomorrow, pulling out all my candles, possibly buying new ones, getting my lighter ready and a few more pieces of wood for the fire place. Maybe even pick up some marshmallows, graham crackers and chocolate for some smores. Is it lame to make smores in your home fire place? Lol...hmm..

Anyways, here are some pictures from last night. What a cutie!

=snowflakes=

While working a tedious and long report at work today, I found this fun website where you can cut your own paper snowflake online. Thought I would share! Have fun!

=3 glasses of wine=

Once again, I'm up too late. I've had three glasses of wine, by myself as usual, and am feeling pretty good. :o) I'm just about relaxed and ready for bed. Just got done watching Friends and Sex and the City. Nothing better than a night filled with a few glasses of wine, Friends followed by Sex and the City. Actually, I correct myself...it would be even better if Michael were home with me. His schedule has become pretty insane again. Working crazy hours...and Saturdays. Stupid peek season! Everyone needs to stop sending boxes...just stop okay? Stop with the presents, care packages, everything. I want my hubby home. Stupid giving season and nice people. Psh. So selfish. :o) But really, I miss him and the thing that sucks is that January he starts driving again for Blue Rhino. So, he'll be working two jobs with crazy hours and Saturdays. Our Saturdays together were short lived and definitely taken for granted. At least we had some FULL weekends together and some fun times. Until next October-November.

I would have posted pictures by now, but I left my camera in my sisters car after the wedding. Soon, very soon.

Speaking of the wedding, it went great. It was definitely more laid back than most given that I knew most of the people there. I even danced a song. "Forever" by Chris Brown....LOVE IT! I'll post pictures when I get my camera.

Okay...I'm feeling a little too warm now and starting to get really tired. The wine is hitting me. I'm off to bed. I'll post later. Sorry it's not too exciting...welcome to my life.

=too tired=

It's been a while since I've posted. Sorry, but I just haven't been in the mood lately. We had great Thanksgivings, all three of them, and are now ready and totally stoked for Christmas. We love it! Our favorite time of the year! We got our Christmas tree, pictures coming soon, on Sunday the 30th and it's up and decorated with presents wrapped underneath. Christmas music plays daily in our apartment, and here at my desk. We just can't get enough of it.

We have a wedding tomorrow, one of my fellow TwinStar CU employees. Tonight is the rehearsal and I'm just not in the mood. I'm not feeling very social today. I would much rather go home, get comfy and watch a movie tonight. Oh well. Then it's off to the wedding tomorrow....all day...in Centralia. Ugh. I'm just too tired right now to think about it.

=terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day=

So far, nothing good has happened to me today. It started with Hailey throwing a tantrum about EVERYTHING this morning. Everything: the jacket I put on her, the shoes I put on her, her baby still having to "sleep", not being able to lay down with daddy, putting her hair in a pony tail, the shirt i put on her (she wanted the butterfly, not the pineapple..). Then I stood in the kitchen looking at our lack of food trying to figure out what to take for lunch. No luck. Because of these two things, I was 10 minutes late to work. It was a perfect start to my terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day. Nine-thirty rolls around and I decided to go get a tea from starbucks. Before I leave, I apply my make-up (this is normal for me to put on make-up at work, I'm lazy). So, as I'm applying my blush, I drop the blush onto the floor, it breaks the powder and goes all over the floor. Took me 15 minutes of scrubbing to get to where the carpet wasn't pink. Urg...so, now I need a new blush...lame! I then take a few orders from some co-workers and I head out. When I get back, I'm trying to get out of my car and my co-workers coffee topples onto the ground, spilling and splattering everywhere! I swear it happened in slow motion too and there was nothing I could do about it! Of course, it wasn't the $2 tea, or the $3 coffee...no, it had to be the grande soy $5 carmel machiatto with extra carmel. Of course! So, I head back over, with coffee spilt all over my leg, sticky to starbucks and order another grande soy $5 carmel machiatto for my co-worker. On my way back out to the car, I don't pick my foot up enough and slosh it through what I swear was the biggest puddle in the parking lot. Being the person that I am, I don't wear socks or anything, so my feet are now soaking weat and cold! I finally make it back to work, heading into the building, rain pouring, wind gusting and my umbrella blows inside out....perfect! I give up at this point. I head home for lunch to eat tomato soup, yum, and on my way back to work, i hit EVERY FLIPPIN LIGHT! I'm not exaggerating either. I even hit that stupid light at the elementary school that NEVER changes. Oh, but when it does, its the longest light on earth! So I was of course late back from lunch, fabulous! The day goes on with me continuously looking for an account number that didn't exist (thanks to my new number dislexia), seriously, I searched for like 10 minutes for this file. Pandora became blocked at work today!!! NOOOOO!!! What will I do with out my Jason Mraz and Michael Jackson radio? Life just isn't worth living. Then I get into an arguement with Nikki when it didn't need to be. A misunderstanding, but it lasted for a good couple of hours. Absolutely great.

My terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day ended with me heading to see Guys and Dolls with Jen and mom at the community college. It was cute, and kinda cheesy. We ended up leaving at intermission, but it was pay what you can night so we weren't out much. Intermission was at 9:30! Too late for another 45 minutes on a week night. Not too bad of an ending.

It's 11:30 and thank goodness this day gets to end. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day. I ge to wear jeans in honor of the Apple Cup this weekend, so it's already off to a good start. We shall see...
