=my beautiful blue eyed girl=

My little girl is growing up...

Hailey is growing up so fast. Her hair is long enough as well as thick enough now to keep a ponytail or pigtails in. She hates having something in her hair. So lately I've been working on getting her used to it. I was actually able to put her hair in pigtails this morning before daycare. I'm not expecting them to still be there when I pick her up later tonight. In fact, I'm expecting that they won't be. I can't wait until the day that she begs me to do her hair. At least she likes to have her hair brushed. She also likes brushing my hair. Lol...she doesn't necessarily brush it to make it look better just yet. She kinda goes in circles and ends up knotting it all up and sometimes getting the comb stick in my hair. But whatever, at least she shows an interest. She's already showing interest in make up. Every weekend, she sits in the bathroom brushing her hair while I get ready. A couple weekends ago, I gave her an old blush holder that I had and a brush. She now sits there and pretends to put on make up. She is just too darn cute! She even looks at herself in the mirror of the blush holder. I love the fact that she's already trying to do the things I do. I am absolutely in love with this little girl. She definitely holds a key to my heart...and will forever. I dream of the day that we can have girl talk and talk about the cute boys in her class...however, I don't want it to get here just yet. Where we are is fine for now. :o) I'm excited!
Not only does Hailey show interest in hair and make up, she now wants to walk everywhere. Before, I used to pick her up to walk out to the car from daycare...and walk to the door to daycare as well as walk up our stairs when we get home...now, she screams if I don't put her down. She's becoming so independent. Well, with the exception of me having to put on her socks and shoes, hold her hand, etc. Lol.
Oh! Hailey is also wanting to take showers with me instead of her baths. Yeah, not even a year and a half old and already prefering showers over baths....what a nut!
This beautiful blue eyed girl melts my heart and makes me realize what the purpose of my life is. I can't even remember what I used to do with my time before I had her. She is the best part of me. I wouldn't change being Hailey's mama for anything...no matter how frustrated I get.

=wore out=

Wow, so Michael was gone this weekend in Reno, as you know, and I had Hailey to myself. I, surprisingly, kept really quite busy. On Friday, I worked and then picked up Hailey and spent the night dancing around with her and cooking dinner. That night, my neighbor came over, we had a little girl time and then off too bed I went. Saturday, Hailey woke me up at the crack of dawn ready to go for the day. Yeah, I was a little tired. I fed her some breakfast where I started a movie and watched it most of the morning. Around 11, off to the Cider Mill we went. It's off of Rich Road, there are animals you can feed for $.50 and they make their own cider, pies, apple friders, etc. It was a blast, Hailey had a lot of fun! However, with all that there was to do there, she seemed to find the crumy, gross, plastic slide to play on, and that's all she wanted to do the entire time we were there. But whatever, it wore her out and that's all that matters. After her nap, we went to my sisters house to eat dinner and get ready for the wedding show the next day. The next day was filled with brides to be and their mothers...yikes! It was a blast though. Great experience and got a couple of bookings from it. Sweet. That night was filled with the Oscars...I'm in love with some of those dresses. I had a full weekend. Needless to say, I'm exhausted. During lunch yesterday, I actually went out to my car and slept for 45 minutes....yeah...haven't done that since I was pregnant! lol.

My day is just dragging...actually, my week has been dragging. I tell ya, being tired, doesn't make time go by fast. I've been here since 8 and it is now 1:25 and I couldn't tell you what I've done the last 5 1/2 hours. Haha, I'm totally zoned. I've worked...aparently I've accomplished a lot because my total $ spent for the day here at work so far is over 524 thousand dollars.....yeah....I've worked, but I don't remember doing any of it! Hahaha. I'm ready for the weekend and it's only Wednesday. Yikes. Somebody needs to bring me some caffine and lots of it! Sigh, if only I had money for some coffee. I may end up choking down the horrible coffee they provide here. Yuck! Don't know if I'm THAT despirate!

OH! The movie that I watched on Saturday is The Painted Veil...I highly recommend it. It was so good that I literally can't stop thinking of it. GREAT movie...I plan on purchasing it for my movie library. So, next time you are out looking for a movie to rent or order on Netflix, The Painted Veil should be your choice!

That's all for now kiddos. It is time for me to start working again...ugh. At least I get to venture out to the DOL today. I love doing that when it's goregous out like it is today...sun is shining, blue skies...I love it!
Until next post...

=boyz II men? aren't they like 40?=

This is officially my first "lonely" post since Michael left. it's 9:52pm and I'm so bored that I'm watching Don't Forget the Lyrics with none other than Boyz II Men...yes, you heard right, Boyz II Men!

I've always wondered where they went. They were so awesome!!! I miss them...now all I need is my New Kids on the Block fix...soon, very soon! OMG! Boyz II Men are singing End of the Road...dude, move on, you came to the end of the road a while ago...lol

I hate nights without Michael....so boring and lonely...and cold. He always keeps our bed warm. I literally can feel the heat radiating off of him at night. It's nice, my own heater (saves a lot of money on our energy bill!) Sigh....it's only the first night.

Well, everyone, this has been fun, but it's time for Lipstick Jungle...

Night all!!!

=i feel like poop=

I'm miserable, coming down with a cold. My sore throat started yesterday towards the end of work. I slept horrible last night because every time I had to swallow, it woke me up. Now, sitting through an entire day of work, utterly exhausted and feeling like poo, I'm definitely ready to go home. Only 10 more minutes...obviously I'm working very hard right now... :o) Oh yeah! To top it all off, Michael leaves at 6 to go to Reno until Sunday...leaving me to take care of Hailey all by myself. Fabulous! Perfect timing darn cold!

Yeah, Michael is leaving for 4 nights and 3 days. I hate when he's gone. We were apart for so long, so many times that I hate it when he's gone. Reminds me of the Marine days. Yuck...all I know is this weekend better fly by so he'll be back to keep the bed warm!

I have a wedding show this weekend. Our first one. I'm excited. I'm really hoping that this is what Jennie and I need for our business to become full time. I really need to get away from this job. I love planning, it's a blast, but trying to focus on that as well as this job and life is tough. I want to be able to give 100% of my work attention to that job. Prayer is needed!

Who's excited for the Oscars this Sunday!? Ooo Ooo, me! Yes! I think I may make a girls night of it with my hot momma neighbor next door...some wine, slippers and some good 'ol Oscars...here I come!

That's all folks...Until next post....

Love ya!

=needing a change of pace=

I'm stuck...in a rut that i desperately need to get out of. I feel like I haven't experienced life. There is still so much that I want to do. Everyday is the same thing. I get up at 6:30am to hop in the shower and start getting ready for the day. After I'm done, I wake Hailey up, get her ready for daycare and head out the door. I head to daycare and then to work, pushing it, walking through the doors of my building at 7:59am. I come to my desk and do the same thing every day...just different numbers. I get the same mail in the morning, afternoon and evening. I take lunch at exactly 1:00pm and take my breaks at 10:30am and 3:30pm where I go use the eliptical for 7 minutes and then do abs for 3 minutes. I get off at 5:00pm and head back to daycare to pick Hailey back up. On the ride home, we sing and dance to music, park, head up the stairs where I begin dinner. We eat, then I clean the kitchen and start some laundry. After which I sit and watch Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy and then whatever show is on after that, depending on the night. Around 8:30pm, I put Hailey to bed and start preparing for my day tomorrow, making lunch, packing the diaper bag and picking out my clothes....the same exactly thing every day. I'm bored. My job is horrible, Michael and I don't do much together and I wish things could be different. I wish I could work part time so I could do the chores during the day and have more family time at night. More time to play with Hailey and snuggle with Michael. I wish I could just sit and relax for a few minutes and take a deep breath to realize how happy I am with life. But am I happy? No...I'm bored...I'm stuck, I live a monotonous life. There are so many things that I want to do. I want to take the time to learn how to cook, I want to be able to spend time with my daughter, take her to the park, rough house with her. I want to be able to spend some quality time with Michael so we don't argue as much. I want to finish school. I want to be able to focus more attention to my business. I want a less stressful job with more contact with people. I want to be happy....

=happy birthday to ME=

I had an awesome birthday. Well, it started out kinda lame. Michael worked until 4 and Hailey woke me up at 7:30...ugh. My mom came over until about 11:30...which was nice. Then Meg came over around 2 and hung out for about an hour and a half. Got some starbucks and cleaned my room up a bit and tried to rearrange it...didn't work out so much. Still a pit and not put together at all...but now I have a better idea about how it's going to look..finally. It only took 7 months of living here to do something in that room.

Anyways...Michael came home and we took Hailey to Jennie's to spend the night. We then went to the Spar for some dinner and drinks. Scrumptious! Well, Michael left the door unlocked at home and I couldn't find my ID...so, we had to head back home. Low and behold, I open the door and there are mass amounts of balloons and everyone was hiding. Curtis, Hanna, Jack, Paula, Nikki, Sara, John (Sara's bf), Kyle, Natica and Lilly were all there to surprise me. It was great. Had some cake...took some pictures, laughed a lot. It was the best time I've had in a REALLY long time. The most I've laughed in forever. It boosted my spirits and made me realize that I really am loved. It was a blast...however, it was missing my Melissa...you were there in spirit. (Hanna and I talked about you!! :o) ) Now, it's currently 1:30 am on the 17th...Paula, Curtis and Michael are playing Mario Cart on the Nintendo 64....and they are crackin me up! All have had drinks....playing a game that was probably made while they were high...lol.

Well, we are kidless...for the first time overnight and I'm so excited to get to sleep in! I will probably be up by 8 anyways...lol. Oh well! :o)

That's all for now...until next post....

Love ya!

=my day from hell=

Yes, I caved, I started my own blog. Thanks Mel!! So, bare with me as I get used to this thing. You'll see just how interesting the life of Stephanie Ann is.....or isn't. You can decide.

Today was the longest day EVER! It started out great. I got to work on time, had birthday presents waiting for me on my desk, got my starbucks, things were good. Then, the day from hell started. I had a HORRIBLE 45 minuted phone call with a member. I guess I can't really consider it a phone call, it was more like a horrible screaming fit where she spent the entire 45 minutes telling me that I was horrible, didn't help her at all, wasn't good at my job and my customer service skills sucked. It was fabulous...NOT! Then, after that, drained of all of my physical and mental energy, as soon as I get off the phone, my phone rings again...yep, you guest it, another angry member that was just put directly in my phone rather than having the teleservices person tell me that they were angry. During this phone call, my coworker sitting next to me decides to yell at me to stop clicking my pen. Apparently I do this while I'm on the phone. My day continues this way, phone call after phone call of either angry members or coworkers. I then get a note from my other coworker telling me that she told the DOL I would be there later today to pick stuff up...gee, thanks for offering up my services! Why don't you go get it yourself!? After 7 hours of this hell, my day ended with roses, brownies, vanilla bean ice cream and hot fudge. Came home and Michael had dinner ready and his hair cut...so, an good ending to the LONGEST DAY EVER! I think I may go get some cold stone.

Okay, that's it for now. I need to go get Hailey for bed. G'night all....until the next post.

Love ya!
