We are having car trouble again. Both of our cars now....here's the story:
Sunday I got up and started getting ready to head to the pumpkin patch. Michael didn't feel well, so it took us a while to get out the door. Right before we left, Hailey tripped and hit her mouth and chin on our lamp behind the couch. It has shelves in between the legs and she smacked it pretty good on that sharp shelf. Her lip was bleeding and her chin was swollen. Not a good start at all. After a popsicle, some childrens tylenol and much consuling, we finally headed out the door. We get piled into the car and low and behold, my car wouldn't start. It was completely dead. Pissed off, Michael and argue a bit about it and pile into Michael's car and head to the pumpkin patch. Five minutes into our drive, Hailey is sound asleep. Michael and I decided to drive around for an hour to let her sleep. We drove and looked at homes that we won't ever be able to afford. After some starbucks tea and lunch, at two different places because we couldn't agree on one, we finally made it to the pumpkin patch.
When we got home, Michael unlocked my car and it started making a horrible noise. Great...it was the battery. $90 and a delivery pizza later, my car started....until the next morning. It was dead...yet again. Michael had to take us to daycare and work...good thing he was off Monday. Around lunch time, my car finally started, with the check engine light on. Yesterday afternoon, my check engine light when off and Michael's came on. Here we go again...ugh. We have the WORST luck ever. Seriously, we have horrible luck when it comes to pretty much anything and everything.
Good news is...we took some way cute pictures of the pumpkin patch. It was a lot of fun. Look closely and you can see Hailey's lip injury.

I've already told you I love the pumpkin patch pictures but let me tell you again..love them!
I am sad about Hailey's lip..that lamp is dangerous! I read this and then turned around to see how sharp those shelves are...and dang...not child friendly! I hope she is feeling better now! Popsicles solve the worlds problems at 2 years old and 23..! P.S. Thanks again for the lamp..love it.
I am sorry about the cars...lame. I hope they are behaving this week though! We need a life update soon...agreed?
Very cute pictures... The pumpkin patch can solve a lot of ill's. Thanks for sharing the photos and I too hope all goes well with the cars.
I get so frustrated with car trouble too. It always seems to happen at the times you rely on them the most. Totally sucks...
Have a great week and enjoy the sunshine while we have it.

One more thing... That girl knows how to smile :)
Great pictures.
Not sure the car trouble is "bad luck". It just sounds like "life" to me. We all have to go through the "rites of passage". I just wish they would end some time soon. LOL
Hugs to all
