Just a quick note....I made the best tasting pork chops tonight. I found a recipe right before I left work today called Pork Chops in Beer. Sounded weird to me too, but it was the only recipe I found that I had everything I needed: pork chops, pepper, salt and a 12 oz beer. Michael has had a Heineken in the fridge for over a month, so, I thought I would put it to use.

Pork Chops in Beer

Pork Chops
Salt
Pepper
12 oz beer

Salt and pepper pork chops to taste. Brown pork chips in pan. Pour 12 oz beer into pan, cover and simmer until beer is just about gone.

That's it...and they had the best flavor.

**side note: I saw a commercial tonight for splenda no calorie. Their slogan is "made from sugar, tastes like sugar, but it's not sugar". Question....how is it made from sugar, but it's not sugar? Thought for the night.
